View Full Version : Squirrel Watching

I never started one of these in the old forumz, but decided to with the new start. Tessa is newly two, and has been known as Squirrel since she came home from the hospital (hence the title :D). She's going through a crazy independent stage right now. I hear "mine!" "I do!" "You go away!" more than anything these days. The out of proportion emotional outbursts are going strong as well. She's a thrower, and at the first sign of anger or frustration, she chucks whatever's laying around. But she's also incredibly sweet giving copious amounts of hugs and very wet kisses.

Yep, the front says, "I believe in fairies." I stalked it for weeks before it went on sale. I just can't justify spending $25 on a white shirt for a 2 yo.

This week she's getting in her two year molars and all the lovely nose running, fevered, sleep-disturbances that come with them. Uggg :(

Here are a couple from today.
Lounging in her hammock.

no longer lounging:

I think my poor girl has lost the genetic lottery where hair is concerned. It's soooo thin with a little bit of wave: enough that it'll be a pain in the butt, but not enough to add any body. No thick luscious hair in her future.

My niece was called Squirrel Girl when she was a baby.
