Just felt like randomly sharing this b/c I came across it on my mediafire. Anyway, I believe it's from the infamous '96 Miami show. It's literally so powerful that I can't listen to it too much anymore. There's so much pain and passion. This is definitely the definitive version:

Oh God. I miss these days. Amazing. It reminds me of why I was so obsessed with her so much then.

Yeah. This performance is really explosive. I mean, imagine if this had been recorded in a studio setting. I wish we had official releases of the DDI tour.

Thanks for this. :)

Your welcome. Also, under the spoiler, I put the Josephine solo-instrumental Tori did in '05. It's exquisite.

As soon as I saw the title, I knew it would be the Miami performance. :) The improvisations are amazing. I'm pretty sure this is the only time she performed "Girl" on the DDI tour, so this is the only performance of it with just her and Caton.

There's another great live version of Girl, from the BBC session, not raw and powerful like the one above, but still pretty good.

Thanks for posting this, it's is so great. I'd never heard it before. It makes me want Tori to release instrumental versions of each album.

Seriously. Coincidentally, I was at this show. It was a very dark period, 2005, and I can still remember sitting in the audience w/ my mother (very special moment) and crying my ass off.

I like how she tweaked the instrumental. It's a bit more fluid and uplifting. Here she plays it sort of like Pachelbel's Canon in D.

Tori was sick at that show and started crying midway through Space Dog, I think.

She actually walked off stage and stayed off for about 15 minutes. She then walked back on and gave one of the best concerts of her career.
