I didn't bother including Midwinter Graces because we all hate it.

Choirgirl. It was the perfect kind of bizarre glam for Tori and it really reflected the album's sound- dark, glossy, strange. Plus, I love the map!

oy. this is hard. it's a pretty close call between BFP, FTCH and SW. They all match the music so incredibly well... especially FTCH. And the SW artwork is just stunning. So it's hard. But based on the cover, BFP wins for me. Holy God what an amazing cover shot that is... Tori, covered in dirt, holding a shotgun. It just never ceases to blow my mind. And it matched the intensity of the music perfectly. Just incredible.

I feel I must mention that I also love the artwork for UTP and TBK. As far as art direction goes, I just love them. The collection of tiny objects in UTP, and colors in TBK. Very well done :)

But, once again, BFP takes the cake.

As soon as you look at the artwork, whether or not you've heard the album, you instantly get it.

As far as just the album cover, I really love To Venus And Back. Some of the other ones are a bit "pose-y," but TVAB really seems to capture a genuine moment to me. But as far as the overall album art, gotta go with Pele. It's just iconic, suckling pig and all. And I also thought Under the Pink had lovely images, too. As for Choirgirl, I don't know; a lot of the pictures look like she just went wild with a color copying machine.

FTCH.
Second option: SLG.

FTCH. I love how dark it is. Boys for Pele is a very close second. All of her Atlantic albums had some really great artwork.

I voted for Choirgirl, but I'd say either Choirgirl or Boys for Pele takes the cake for me.

Choirgirl. Pele was not bad too but I hated the pig shot.

I could have written this myself. I agree with everything.

I love Scarlet's Walk. The whole era and early 2000s fashion was just beautiful.

That was my vote as well. It was so organic and for me it really echoed the sentiment of the music itself.

As soon as you look at the artwork, whether or not you've heard the album, you instantly get it.

This is exactly why I am torn between BFP and FtCH - they are both such amazing representations of the music on each album. BFP is simply a perfect match for the music, not to mention all of the photos within are spot on. Choirgirl was Tori's first album that was really electric and gritty, and the artwork also matches that sound perfectly.

So although Pele is my favorite album, I've always had a thing for that FtCH cover image - had to go with it.
