What's your favorite song on Scarlet's Hidden Treasures?

Tombigbee all the way. Because it's awesome and also because I used to live near the Tombigbee River. Also, I love "hang these bones out to dry."

Indian Summer <3

This is like picking which of your children are your favorite.

I went with Seaside, simply for the fact that the Portland Maine version from 2003 is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard.

Apollo’s Frock because that studio intro is gold; I otherwise lean toward Chicago 2005 or Irving 2017 performances.

I want to mention Tombigbee too, I just don’t really love the studio track. It has grown on me in recent years though.

Mountain wasn't on the cd, but it was a hidden treasure on the website. It is probably my favorite, but I really love them all.

Indian Summer! One of her most gorgeous songs!

Tie between Tombigbee and Indian Summer -- the snarlingest, rockingest Scarlet track VS. the most ethereal and best use of the new production style.

Mountain would be a close third. Ruby is great but I don't like the loudness of her voice, especially when she says "roopee" at the end. :( Apollo's Frock has a great intro but again, the mixing of her voice hurts my ears.

Seaside is, sorry to say, forgettable to me. Bug a Martini is... ugh. I don't know why Tori thought it would be suddenly to cool to work cheesy lounge music into her repertoire (this, Hoochie, STS, intro jam)

I will have to check out that performance!

I love love love "Indian Summer" but hate hate hate the "Mr. Bush" reference in it. It doesn't go and it dates the song.

All of them are golden but I went with Apollo's Frock ... Tombigbee is a close second

Confession: I like Indian Summer >> Gold Dust.

Nothing wrong with Gold Dust but Indian Summer is musically so majestic. I don't like the Mr. Bush reference either but it only happens once and I can sorta tune it out. Plus the song is so perfect when it's preceded by Mountain/Virginia and loops back around to Amber Waves. (Don't tell anyone I replaced GD with IS!!!)

Apollo's Frock is my favourite, and one of my most beloveds from across all eras of her work. Indian Summer a close second. [post28]

I think I've listened to Indian Summer once or twice only. It bored me and I never gave it another shot. Perhaps I should.

I've never really listened much to SHT. I need to revisit it also.
Initially Bug a Martini was actually my favorite, but now Tombigbee, after having seen it a couple times live.

Tombigbee is probably my favourite, but I love them all, really. It's such a perfect EP.

Seaside, Ruby, and Indian Summer are my favorites. I cannot stand Bug a Martini.

Tombigbee and Seaside.

I love this whole disc, really love Indian Summer, especially on the right season, and how could you not adore Apollo, but Seaside is my secret favourite that just gets me going like none pf the other. As for Mountain, I think this would be my absolute fave and I'm pretty much just waiting for a 20 year anniversary so that I can get it in good audio. Like we literally need to make CERTAIN that she can't neglect it again.

Mountain is in my Tori top 40. BUNNY SLIPPERS AND ALL ;l

I love them all minus Bug A Martini (which is just... okay, I guess).

Ruby is beautiful and poignant, as Seaside is as well. Apollo and Indian Summer are a league of their own, with their majestic tones and meditative beauty. Tombigbee is amazes and I love the bridge. It makes a great company for Sweet Sangria and Pancake.

Well, I don't know which one to pick as my favorite.

Indian Summer

Indian Summer for me too. I love the ethereal feel and the way the music washes over. The reference to "Mr Bush" dates the song a bit but seeing somehow it makes it feel like a harking back to a simpler time. Her voice is gorgeous with that reverb throughout.

I would have chosen Indian Summer if it were recorded in studio truer to the live version she sang back in 2003 (?) - - - it was beautiful and less drawn out. I chose Seaside because I feel it is a true classic Tori song. Full of emotion, simple and beautiful lyrics and song structure.
