The album of the year is finally unleashed this November, exclusively at Tesco. Make it milk, bread, and Nuhdeen.

I don't think you're ready.

She also does the odd turn at her maxi-mini-bar, Nuhdeen's Irish Mist. I hear that's where she first met William Orbit, when he slipped a ten dollar bill against her four leaf clover.

Yuhr insayshuble.

As I said to Erin, Insayshuble leaves me...unsatisfied. But I'm really excited anyway because IT'S NUHDEEN. She's like a peach on eyss.

Yeah, I wasn't blown away by the clip either. Cheryl's Promise This, on the other hand, sounds like a treat.

Apparently the Nadine album features a "Joni Mitchell-esque stark, mournful ballad" which should be entertaining at worst.

I hope the bonus track is Nuhdeen cooing Fyulds uv Goal'd into Davina's ear.

It's not great, is it? It might be redeemed if she pulls her usual spazzy faces in the video.

I think it's time for some gifs.

Does

"Very shocked to see Gamu not thru. Waste!"

qualify as a "rant"? According to that article it does.

I have it on good authority that the carbomb in Londonderry last night was a promotional event for her single.

I hope tonight's X Factor twist is Nuhdeen appearing as THE FIFTH JUDGE, mentoring the acts everyone else booted like Gamu and Paije. OR! Nuhdeenspeak Week, during which all contestants must reinterpret songs in Nuhdeenspeak.

I hope so. I really do.

Joe McE is doing a performance on the show this weekend. Exciting. I trust you've heard all about Katie Waissel and her previous record deals, multiple aliases, album releases, YouTube "TV" shows, contacts with Sony and Radio 2, and, most perplexingly of all, her brief fling with Apprentice contestant Michael "I'm a nice Jewish boy" Sophocles and her subsequent distaste for his hairy back? (And attempts-in-vain to sell story to News of the World)

I have! And they've still let the tosser through. I fucking hate Katie.

I wanted her "eyelashes" to dislodge and pierce her eyeballs. Or fall into her quivering mouth and make her version of "Smile" even more cringingly melodramatic.

Nadine. Insatiable. Midweek No.35. Ouch.

The whole campaign has been the most horrendously mismanaged thing ever. Nadine's not helping matters by backhandedly slagging Girls Aloud/Cheryl. GA fans are the only people remotely interested in buying your record, Nuhdeen, don't be alienating them!

The bits of the album I've heard so far aren't exactly pop brilliance either.

She just doesn't have the personality to connect with the public. I also don't know whether or not to believe all the 'shittalking about everyone' reports, or at least the scale of them. I mean maybe she simply is stupid enough to say all those things (or continue saying them) but I suspect a lot of it is the press creating drama and portraying her as a necessary villain in it all (especially after Cheryl became the nation's golden girl). Any genuine interview I've seen with her, she's been saying the opposite of what is reported in the papers and it seems strange that there is such a disparity. She has never been popular with the media, and even if the song wasn't as completely average as it is, I think she would have had a hard time making it a huge success, partly because of that. I mean the fact that Cheryl can have not just hits, but record-breaking hit with the completely mediocre shit she is putting out there at the minute says a lot about both public and media perceptions and portrayals and how they can make or break someone. Nadine should have went with a better song, but she was also facing an uphill battle from the start, and the fact that the midweek chart position and sales figures were so widely reported in the media already, makes it feel like a bit of a self-fulfilled prophecy.

I heard her album yesterday and it's atrocious.

Callum

There are a couple of alright songs on it, but the whole thing is just hopelessly outdated and naff. Purr show.

JAE

Yeah, a couple of reviewers pointed out the irony of it sounding like shitty manufactured guff circa 2002; when Girls Aloud are sometimes acknowledged as a bit of a turning point away from that.

Nadine. Insatiable. Midweek No.35. Ouch.

(OK, I'm going to do my little stan defense heres yous guise.)

She did REALLY well on the indie charts, though, and that's what it was, an indie album, that she released on an indie label. So not bad actually.

It has been mismanaged. And she needs to STOP TALKING and also fire Big Apple Bruce, AKA, the worst manager ever. EV-ER.

And I don't like the last half of the album full stop. But I like the first 7 songs, and "Put You Hands Up" is absolutely fantastic. It should have been the lead single, IMO.

Cheryl is still my favorite and MLR is a TOP album start to finish. I love it. But I love Nuhdeen too, just becasue. She's an Aloud. I luv them.
