As long as she doesn't look like a dead body on the new album cover, it's a mild improvement.
already down? they must watch this forum like hawks.
I'm not really getting a Pele vibe from the backstage photos, since that also had a very Southern vibe in the artwork. If this album's art ends up being half as good as Pele's though, I'd be ecstatic.
I do like the photo with the burning teepee, and it'll be nice to get some night-time outdoor shots since Tori hasn't done that in a long time. A dark photoshoot in a wooded area with fire would also seem to fit with the title, and some connection between the artwork and anything else about the project would be nice after AATS/MWG's artwork. Of course, most of those photos don't take place in that setting, so who knows what we're getting.
The last "at night" shot yielded this classic
There is potential for some interesting artwork in that Cork setting. Just cease with the nonsensical Photoshopping already!
I'm imagining photos that progress into the night and get progressively darker as Tori becomes some sort of hunter. It would go along with the themes and the BDSM/dark clothing rumor.
I *knew* there was something wrong with the photo -you can't see her shoes! A travesty!
In all seriousness, I'm glad it looks like some of the photos will be shot outside. I couldn't take those creepy hotel room lizard shots. I think Tori photographs beautifully in nature. The BFP scenes, Spark video, Scarlet's Walk, other promo shots, etc.
I just keep listening to Winter's Carol and praying.
I'm from Cork!
The pictures don't look like anything artistic, to me.
There are video cameras around, so I'm thinking this will also be part of the bonus DVD/video, but I doubt it'll be anything other than visualette style (if they are making a music video). Perhaps that's why they were taken down.

I think that photo should be posted every time someone tries to argue she's not completely up her own ass these days. If you (somehow) manage to put aside the horrific Photoshop and ghastly outfit, the actual message she's trying to convey with that picture is so pretentious.
But I suppose that's discussion for another thread.
She really is beautiful -- a shame she is determined to Photoshop all of that away. Fighting fire with fire...
*Edit* Just to clarify since there's been some confusion, I Photoshopped the below pic using an AATS-era pic. I wish it was the original photo, I would absolutely love to see the original un-retouched.
